ATTENDANCE
Per CCC procedure 303-02, faculty are required to report to the college any students who do not attend the first week of class. They are reported as No Show (NS). Students reported as No Show (NS) will not automatically be dropped from the class, however, financial aid may be impacted and financial aid students may be dropped for non-payment. Procedure 303-02 Attendance.
Students may not be penalized for missing class for a religious observance, jury duty, military duty, or other mandatory civic duty, representing the College in an official capacity, or participating on field trips for another class, if they have given the instructor reasonable notice.
CARE TEAM AND CARE REPORTS
CCC's CARE program assists students in surmounting obstacles that might hinder their academic success and over all well-being. This team acts as a central hub for CCC faculty, staff, and students with concerns about a peer’s welfare. CCC's CARE webpage also lists mental health and well-being resources in the community.
Please submit a CARE report if you have concerns about a student’s well-being, behavior, or situation that may affect their ability to succeed academically or personally.
In the event of an immediate crisis (urgent, life-threatening situation), call 911 and then call CCC Security at (928) 226-4304.
