Write On: Outlining, Organizing, Rough Drafts, & Editing OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Workshops are free and open to the public.

What is Write-On? Write-On is a comprehensive workshop series that guides students through the writing process, from the time they are assigned a paper until the day they hand in their final paper. The workshops cover pre-writing, research, citations, outlining, organization, rough drafts, editing, and final revisions. Students may join the series at any time.

Session 3: Outlining, Organizing, Rough Drafts, and Editing
You have your research; now what? The next step is to organize your information into an outline and then a rough draft. The more detailed your outline the easier your paper will be to write. This workshop will discuss the best kept secret to successful paper writing: strong outlines. Editing can be difficult to do alone. During this workshop you will learn how to proofread your draft, and have tutors edit your draft as well. This is the final check! This final workshop is the perfect time for you to bring your completed draft, and have tutors help you edit it one final time.

Students are encouraged to bring homework assignments.
