Workshops are free and open to the public.

What is Write-On? Write-On is a comprehensive workshop series that guides students through the writing process, from the time they are assigned a paper until the day they hand in their final paper. The workshops cover pre-writing, research, citations, outlining, organization, rough drafts, editing, and final revisions.

Session 1: Brainstorming/ Pre-Writing and Reliable Resources Have you ever wondered how to start writing a paper or even what topic you should write your paper on? This workshop with go through the steps of successfully choosing a topic and beginning to write your paper. Once you have chosen your paper topic, how do you find relevant and academic sources for your paper? This workshop will cover the skills needed to begin research, evaluating the sources that you find, and focusing your research based on the type of paper you are writing.

Students are encouraged to bring homework assignments.
