Wildland Fire Field Day (FSC 233-FD)
Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior/Fire Fighter and Human Factors in the Wildland-Field Day (S-130, S-190, L-180, I-100, IS 700).
This class is an 8 hour field that provides the hands-on portion (field day) to complete student's fundamental knowledge of entry level wildland fire: behavior, control techniques, and fireline leadership, along with an introduction to the Incident Command System and National Response Network. After completion of online and field day, students may qualify for "Red Card" with the addition of fire service employment and successful completion of the Fire Fighter Pack Test. Non-Credit Class.
Pre-requisites: Completion of NWCG online S-130/S-190/L-180 and FEMA IS-100 and IS-700.
