This class includes everything you need to know to create beautiful, delicious charcuterie boards. Charcuterie boards are tasty, beautiful, and perfect for all of your gatherings and occasions. They are filled with a variety of meats, cheeses, and they can be customized to your occasion. Whether you're looking to impress at your next get-together or create the ideal snack to enjoy with your family, meat and cheese boards are the perfect solution. In this class, you will learn to create and style your very own board time and time again! The class will discuss the basics of board construction while you make a board to enjoy in class and bring home. We provide the food and a board for you.
Wally Rande is both a culinary school graduate and a culinary school chef instructor, with over 12 years of experience managing commercial kitchens and working as a chef in restaurants. He has taught for over 30 years in the renowned School of Hotel & Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University. As an Associate Professor he has developed and taught classes in management, leadership, customer service, tourism, human resources, cooking, and beverages. He has multiple degrees in Educational Leadership, an MBA, Hospitality Business and Culinary Arts. He has also certifications as a Level 1 Wine Sommelier, and Level 1 Beer Cicerone.
