About the presenter:

Khara House is a 10+ year resident of Flagstaff. She serves as the Secretary for the Lived Black Experience Project Steering Committee and shares hosting duties for the ongoing LBE CommUnity Dialogue series. In addition to her work with the LBE Project, Ms. House serves as the Chair for the Coconino County African Diaspora Advisory Council, Vice President of NAMI Flagstaff, Chair for the City of Flagstaff's Housing Commission, and on the board of the Southside Community Association, Flagstaff Shelter Services, and other local, state, and national boards and committees. A 2011 graduate of Northern Arizona University (MA, English), Ms. House works in and advocates for housing, Diversity Equity and Inclusion facilitation, and other community-oriented work.
