Return the National Parks to the Tribes: An Argument by David Treuer 

Coconino Community College Common Read and Student Life are hosting an online event to discuss the hidden history of our national parks.
The discussion will also consider David Treuer's proposal, published in The Atlantic Magazine, to return 85 million acres of national parkland to Native American tribes.

This event is inspired by the CCC Common Read's 2020-2022 focus, American Tensions, which emphasizes cultivating dialogue around difficult issues. 

Free and open to the public – RSVP required.
