CCC Hispanic Heritage Month Presentation

Everyone is invited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Coconino Community College.
This year's online presentation is given by community activist Máxima Guerrero, who speaks out on migration indigeneity. The presentation is free, open to the public and online via Zoom.

Powerful and moving talking points will include:
Protesting, immigration, crimmigration, the criminal justice system, deportation, human rights, advocacy, DACA, DREAMers and ICE.
Máxima Guerrero is an advocate for social change and has been a part of community organizing, national action campaigns and local mobilization efforts since 2010.
She is a native of Morelos, Mexico and currently resides on occupied Akimel O'odham territory in Phoenix, Arizona.
Máxima is a DACA recipient, Youth and Leadership Development Director at Puente Arizona and is also the co-founder of Ganaz Apparel, a cultural conscious athletic brand.
