AZ Ahead is a unique collaboration between Northern Arizona University and northern Arizona community colleges to support you throughout your college journey.

Scholarships and financial aid
Start at your community college | As an AZ Ahead program participant, you are eligible to receive a scholarship of $2,000 at Coconino Community College, Northland Pioneer College, or Mohave Community College, renewable yearly for up to two years.
Finish at NAU | When you transfer to NAU as a full-time student, you may also be eligible to receive the 2NAU scholarship (up to $4,000), and the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship or the Jacks Transfer Award (up to $8,000 for Flagstaff campus students).
Eligibility Requirements
- Resident of Apache, Coconino, Mohave, or Navajo County
- Graduated high school, home-school, or GED within the past year (2.0+ GPA)
- Interested in transferring to NAU (CCC2NAU)
- Enrolled in 12+ credit hours
- Completed FAFSA
