CCC GED-Prep classes run a term-enrollment schedule, anyone who has applied and completed all required steps in the registration process, can begin attending classes when a new term begins. Program participants will learn more about class start-date options during the final step of registration.
Classes are open to anyone at least 16 years or older, legally present in the United States, and living in Coconino County. Our mission is to help individuals develop the skills needed to obtain High School Equivalency (HSE) and create opportunities to pursue sustainable careers and/or higher education.
Program Registration
To register for the GED-Prep program complete the Registration Screening Form to confirm yor meet program requirements and to learn more about the High School Equivalency program.
Please note that this is not an application-you must use the link to go on to complete the applications. There are two applications: the first is for enrollment in the college, the second is for enrolling in the GED program.
- After applying, the following steps must be completed prior to attending classes:
- ID Verification (In a brief Zoom meeting online)
- Placement Testing
- Goal Setting Appointment

Class Information
- Classes accessible virtually on Zoom throughout Coconino County
- In person classes are held at the Fourth Street campus in Flagstaff
- Classes free to Coconino County residents ages 16 and older
- There is more than one pathway to earn a High School Equivalency Diploma
- Study plans are personalized, offering Success Coaching/Tutoring and in-person classes

Students Under 18 Years Old (two additional registration steps)
- Obtain a Withdrawal Form from the last public school you were enrolled in
- Students under 18 cannot be enrolled into our program without this form
- If home schooled, parents/guardians should provide a letter stating the student is no longer being home schooled and is not enrolled in a public school
- Complete the GED Parental Permission Form
- Physical paper copies of both the Withdrawal form and Parental Permission form must be submitted to NAU's Testing Center, as well as providing current photo ID
- Students under 18 without these completed forms will not be able to schedule GED exams
Returning Students/Previously Registered
- Complete the Adult Education Registration Online Form to update your program registration.
- After the form has been submitted you will receive an email with your next steps.
