Zoom Information

Zoom LogoZoom is the video conferencing tool used by CCC for meetings and classes to broadcast to other locations.  CCC’s three campuses, Lone Tree, Fourth Street, and Page, all have Zoom-enabled and Zoom Room classrooms. These classrooms allow students to participate in classes from long distances through satellite sites and personal devices.  Additionally, various meeting rooms throughout the CCC campuses are also Zoom-enabled which allows meeting participants to join, just like students, from long distances and through personal devices.

Faculty and Staff can create a Zoom account by going to https://coconino.zoom.us and logging in with your Comet ID and Password.

Where is my Host Key?

When joining a meeting through a link in your email, instead of using a Zoom desktop client you may not be properly made the host of your meeting. You can claim being the host for your meeting by choosing "Participants" and "Claim Host".

To find your Host Key follow these steps:

  • Sign into Zoom on the login page: https://coconino.zoom.us
  • Navigate to your Profile page
  • Scroll down to "Host Key"
  • Next to Host Key choose "Show" or choose "Edit" to enter a custom 6 digit code

This Key can be typed into a meeting to claim host as long as you were the original user that created the meeting.
