NOW HIRING: TRiO Mentor
Interested in becoming a paid TRiO Mentor?
Do you have a passion for helping others? Are you interested in a part-time position that allows you change lives and encourage other students to succeed? Can you establish safe and trusting relationships? If so, apply to become a TRIO Mentor for Spring 2018! Mentors must be in good academic standing and within (at least) their second year of college. Application available online and in the TRiO Office, room 106.
The TRiO program increases our student retention and graduation rates, facilitates student transfer from two-year to four-year colleges and fosters an institutional climate supportive of the success of low-income and first-generation college students and individuals with disabilities. The TRiO program is free.
S.T.A.R.T. Program: Student Transitions & Academic Readiness Training. The S.T.A.R.T. Program provides workshops designed to support students in achieving academic success. Participants receive training in navigating college with confidence, successfully transitioning into a career, or transferring to a four-year university. See a list of S.T.A.R.T.
