GED Practice Test: The Official Practice Test can be taken at www.GED.com for $6 per content area. Free practice tests can be found at www.GEDtestingservice.com under the For the Educators tab.
Scheduling: All scheduling occurs online at www.GED.com after the registration process is complete.
Tip: Students do not have to take all four sections of the GED in a single session. We recommend scheduling no more than 2 sections of the GED exam in one day for greater success on the exam.
Retest Policy: Students can test three times on the same subject without waiting. After the third attempt, there is a 60-day waiting period before trying again. Currently the retest fee is discounted to $15 per content area (subject to change).
Accommodations: All accommodations for testing are granted through GED Testing Services. You will find all necessary forms and instructions at www.GED.com.
Civics (Untimed): Starting January 1, 2016, the state of Arizona will require all GED candidates to pass an additional section of Civics. The Civics exam is 100 multiple choice questions taken from the U.S. Citizenship and Naturalization Exam. The cost for the Civics exam is $9 per attempt, the exam is not timed, and is only offered in English. Students may retake the exam as many times as needed to pass.
