The term “Single Parent” means an individual who:

a.  is unmarried or legally separated from a spouse, and

b.  has a minor child or children for which the parent has either custody or joint custody.

The term “Displaced Homemaker” means an individual:

a.  whose main job has been taking care of a home, and

b.  who has been dependent on the income of another person or cash public assistance, but is no longer supported by that income.

c.  who has had or would have difficulty in securing employment sufficient to provide for economic independence.

The term “Dislocated Worker” means an individual:

whose job has been eliminated because of lay-offs, plant closure or downsizing.

The term “Re-Entry Student” means an individual:

who is 30+ years in age who is returning to school after 10 years.
