for Electronic Sources
Works Cited entries for electronic sources are similar to non-electronic sources but they also include:

  • The date of access and the url address.

Some entries include additional information like:

  • The name of database.
  • The name of the library and city of location where the database was accessed.

Example:
Encyclopedia Britannica Online.Vers. 97.1.1. Mar.1997. Encyclopedia Britannica.29 Mar.1997 <http://www.eb.com:180>.

Example of a database citation:
Ries, Martin. "Andre Masson: Surrealism and His Discontents.” Art Journal 61 (Winter 2002): 4-86 Academic ASAP. Gale Group. Coconino Community College Library, Flagstaff, AZ. 20 May 2004 <http://infotrac.galegroup.com/>.
