CAVIAT Co-Enrollment Programs at CCC

Program Overview

The Coconino Association for Vocations, Industry and Technology (CAVIAT) has partnered with CCC and Flagstaff Unified School District schools to provide co-enrollment classes for high school juniors and seniors at no cost to students. The CAVIAT Co-Enrollment programs are two-year programs designed for high school juniors. Beginning Fall 2008, these courses will be offered from 1:00 pm to 4:00 at the CCC Flagstaff campuses. In addition, high school seniors can enroll in Certified Nursing Assistant for the Fall 2008 semester.

Programs Offered

  • Allied Health

    • The Allied Health program prepares students for a variety of careers in the health field and leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Assisting. Click here to download the 2-year program of study. Click here to download the 2-year program of study.
  • Pre-Nursing
    • The Pre-Nursing program will prepare you to be a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and allow you to satisfy many of the pre-requisites for the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. Click here to download the 2-year program of study.
  • CNA Junior
    • This is a Pre-Nursing Program that is only offered in the fall semester of the junior year and fall semester of the senior year to accommodate students who cannot make a 4-semester commitment to the program. Click here to download the 2-year program of study.
  • Law Enforcement
    • The Law Enforcement program will prepare you to for a variety of law enforcement services, corrections, juvenile detention, private security and investigative careers. This program leads to both an Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Arts Degree in Administration of Justice. Click here to download the 2-year program of study.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Seniors Only)
    • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program is comprised of two concurrent classes, NUR 110 and NUR 111. It will prepare you to become a licensed CNA and to work in a variety of health care environments. The pre-requisite to these classes is the American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certificate. CAVIAT will be providing a CPR class for all students in this program free of charge on August 16th or August 23rd at the CCC Lone Tree Campus. How to Register

  1. Apply for CCC Admissions if you have not done so already - CAVIAT Application for Admissions Form

  2. Complete Special Admissions - Concurrent High School Enrollment Form

    *Make sure both a parent and your high school counselor sign the form*

  3. Complete one of the following CAVIAT Program Registration Forms for the Fall 08 semester :

  4. Bring in your completed materials to the CCC Lone Tree Campus Office of Admissions and Records - 2800 S. Lone Tree Rd.

Cost

All CAVIAT CCC Co-enrollment programs are free to students. CAVIAT pays the cost for tuition, fees and textbooks.

Transportation

FUSD will be providing transportation from the high schools to the CCC campuses. Students driving their own cars will have to pay for a CCC parking permit - follow this link for CCC Parking Information.
