This chart is an estimate of how long it takes us to process your file once you have turned in all documents to us. Please consult the calendar below to make sure you are completing your financial aid on time.

FALL 2012

March 9, 2012

Fall 2012 Registration begins

April 16, 2012

Financial Aid priority file completion date. Students completing their FAFSA or turning in their required financial aid documents after today should expect the process to take 30 days, and we advise those students to pay for their classes in full or sign up for the F.A.C.T.S. payment plan.

May 2, 2012

Payment at time of Registration begins.

Students must make arrangements for full payment at the time of registration. Registration is not complete until full payment arrangements are made by:

1. Cash or cash equivalent
or
2. Financial Aid is AWARDED on Web4
or
3. Payment Plan is signed up for
or
4. Veterans Benefits are certified
or
5. Third Party (tribal, vocational rehab, outside agency) award letter

Financial Aid will “hold” your spot in classes only if you have been awarded financial aid. If your financial aid has not yet been awarded, we recommend paying on your own or signing up for the F.A.C.T.S. payment plan so that you are not dropped from your classes.

If you do not have financial aid awarded and sign up for classes without paying or signing up for the FACTS payment plan, your classes will be dropped so that other students may enroll.

August 15, 2012

Bookstore Vouchers are available, starting today and are valid until 8/31/12 at 5pm, at the CCC Bookstore. Parking Permit Vouchers are available, starting today until 8/31/12 at 5pm, at the CCC Flagstaff Lone Tree Security Office. These Vouchers are only available for students who have financial aid awarded that covers all tuition/fees for Fall 2012 and have a remaining credit available. Students who qualify for Bookstore Vouchers and Parking Vouchers will receive an email from us by August 15, 2012. If you do not get an email from us, you did not qualify for the vouchers.

August 27, 2012

Classes start for the Fall 2012 semester. Students beginning the financial aid process today should expect it to take about 30 days before financial aid is complete. Students in this situation are advised to pay on their own or sign up for the FACTS payment plan. The Financial Aid Office will not “hold” classes for students who have applied for financial aid late.

August 31, 2012

Deadline to add Fall 2012 classes.
Deadline to receive 100% refund for Fall 2012 classes that have been dropped.

Bookstore Vouchers and Parking Permit Vouchers expire at 5 pm. Students who did not use all of their Bookstore and Parking Permit Voucher funds by today will have those funds disbursed in an automatic refund amount 9/14/12, if they have been attending and participating in all of their fall classes.

First financial aid disbursement of funds based on confirmed enrollment, attendance and participation in your classes. An automatic refund will be direct deposited into your bank account today. If you receive a check it should arrive a few days later. Students who have not attended one or more of their classes may have all of their financial aid delayed past this date pending confirmation of attendance by all instructors. Students who have not attended one of more of their classes may be required to contact all of their instructors in order to confirm attendance in all classes.

May 13, 2013 Summer hours begin. The Lone Tree campus services will be open Monday thru Thursday from 7am to 6pm and closed on Fridays.

June 21, 2013

Summer Pell grants and the first 1/2 of loan monies are direct deposited based on confirmed enrollment, attendance and participation in classes for the first Summer session 2013 (first 5 week & 10 week session). If you receive a check it should arrive a few days later. Students who have not attended one or more of their classes may have all of their financial aid delayed past this date pending confirmation of attendance by all instructors. Students who have not attended one of more of their classes may be required to contact all of their instructors in order to confirm attendance in all classes.

July 8, 2013 First day of class for second Summer session 2013 (session II). Students beginning the financial aid process today should expect it to take about 30 days before financial aid is complete.
July 9, 2013 Deadline to add classes (session II)
July 15, 2013 Deadline to receive 100% refund for Summer 2013 classes (session II) that have been dropped.
July 19, 2013

Second 1/2 of loan money is direct deposited for first Summer session 2013 (first 5 week & 10 week session). If you receive a check it should arrive a few days later.

July 26, 2013
