A new start
A clean plate that has not been chippedHow amazing to think
That maybe today I will make it
Then I realize how utterly difficult that will beWorry starts to overtake my thoughts
Within two minutes of waking
I am headed down the wrong pathFeet still warm-they haven’t even touched the floor
Why bother?
I see failure ahead
