If I was a painter
I would paint the masterpiece
that is you...
I would trace the silhouette
of that fine spirit that lives
within the walls of your heart...
I would paint the intoxicating
blue air that you exhale--
the essence of your being…
The surrounding white puffy clouds
slowly ascending in flight
to the awaiting heavens...
Oh! I would paint love itself
Manifested in the canvas
of your incandescent skin…
That yearns for that loving touch
those moments that only you can give
the full expression of what life is about...
I would paint you! Over and over!!
