Submissions for this contest will start the 14th of January

Please submit your entry as an attachment in an email.  Make sure you include your First and Last name, CometID, Phone Number, and Email Address.  Your entry must meet the criteria below.

Purpose:

To use student created artwork in a custom CCC desktop theme that will be used campus wide for a year.

Submission Guidelines:

• Must be a current CCC Student’s work – any student.
• Must be Original work.
• May be photo, digitally created artwork, painting or sketch.
• The Photo can be of a sculpture.
• Must either be non-copyrighted or permission must be expressly given  to use the image.
• Must be submitted in digital format via web page (to  be designed.)
• Student must allow CCC to use for PR purposes as well as for the prize of being computer wallpaper for the following year.
• Must meet at least one of the following requirements for subject matter.
• CCC related.
• Northern Arizona.
• Nature.
• If the image contains a person that can be recognized, that individual also needs to give signed permission to use the image.
• Works cannot contain nudity, profanity or blatant advertising.
• Image needs to be submitted in at least 1024x768 resolution and in .jpg, png or .tif format.

General Guidelines:

• This will be an annual contest run the first two weeks of the spring semester.
• Judges will be taken from volunteers from the Art Department, PR Department and from ITS Desktop Services and a student that has not participated in the contest.
• Winning Students will be given a certificate and be published in the CCC literature publication Curios and OnCourse
• 20 Students will be selected as Winners.  One of the winners will receive the Grand Prize and will be awarded two tickets to Palette2Palate
•  The work will be incorporated into a CCC theme that changes images every 30 minutes displaying the 20 winners on all computers in the college for the calendar year of 2013.
