Institutional Research at Coconino Community College involves cooperation and teamwork between all areas of the college and its respective locations. Institutional Research incorporates various types of research, student assessment and reporting that undertaken by of with the assistance of other CCC offices and departments. The majority of the content found on these web pages are prepared by the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment. Additionally, some reports and research projects originated with other people or areas and are shown here for information dissemination purposes.

Courses Offered

In 2006 , the Arizona Legislature revised ARS 15-1427 which expanded the annual report for the community colleges. Specifically, community colleges are now asked to additionally report:

  1. The number, short title and description of all credit courses and noncredit courses offered.
  2. The enrollment for each credit and noncredit course for each of the three previous years.
  3. For credit courses, the full-time enrollment student equivalent for each course for each of the three previous years.
  4. The tuition for each credit and noncredit course.
  5. The fees for each credit and noncredit course.
  6. The number of credits offered for each course.
  7. The percentage of students achieving the credits for the course.
  8. Any new courses not offered in the previous year.
  9. Any new courses not offered for credit in each of the previous three years.

Academic Performance of High School Students

This report is submitted in accordance with A.R.S. 15-1822 to the Arizona Department of Education by September 1st of each year. The focus is to present the overall academic performance of high school graduates at Arizona's community colleges their first semester after graduation. The CCC District summary reports you will see on this website represent all students in the cohort with individual high school performance reports and a consolidated Arizona State report available in the Institutional Research and Assessment Office.

Admission of Students Under 18 Years of Age

This report is submitted in accordance with A.R.S. 15-1821 to the Arizona Department of Education by September 1st of each year. This report presents the number of students enrolled in the reporting year who are under the age of eighteen and have not yet attained a high school diploma or high school certificate of equivalency along with the types of courses where these students are enrolled.

Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment reporting for Community Colleges in the State of Arizona has evolved over the years from basic reporting on the location and grade distribution of the Dual Enrollment cohort of students to complex tracking of the academic progress of those students at the community college level and beyond. Each community college district reports on the courses offered in conjunction with high schools during the previous fiscal year.
