Coconino Community College Foundation

Board President Christopher Bavasi

Christopher Bavasi, Board President

With the Coconino Community College Foundation reaching new heights, and with many new and current donors stepping up to greater commitments, it is my pleasure to serve as the President of the CCC Foundation for 2007-2008.

Next year will be a challenging and exciting time as the Foundation has set forth progressive goals that will bring valuable resources to our College programs. This past year was a tremendous success in acquiring new scholarships and financially enhancing old ones. This effort has directly helped many more students achieve their academic goals and lifelong dreams. On behalf of our students, we will continue to develop and build community partnerships.

Another target that I feel is vital to the growth of the Foundation is to re-establish relationships with our Alumni, whom I'm sure over time will produce new and greater financial support. Our Alumni are not only the product of this institution, but the backbone as well. Through active and informed Alumni, our college will become even stronger. We believe these relationships will enhance the opportunities of Coconino County's businesses and residents.

Again, I am proud to provide leadership to the CCC Foundation Board and believe we are building a stronger CCC Foundation.

Executive Director Robert Erb

Robert G. Erb, Foundation DirectorWelcome to the Coconino Community College Foundation website. This is an exciting time for both Coconino Community College (CCC) and our CCC Foundation as we grow to meet the ever-increasing educational needs of our community. This growth in enrollment, programs, and services has brought many new donors to our Foundation, which has resulted in our ability to better support the many needs of CCC.

This website is designed to give you information about our Foundation and how it supports the many scholarships and programs here at CCC. You will also find information about within our pages about our Foundation Board, recent College and Foundation events, how to apply for a scholarship, priority funding needs, and the different ways you can support the CCC Foundation's scholarships, programs, and events. Donations to our Greatest Needs as an unrestricted gift are most appreciated.

Thank you for visiting the website and I hope that it inspires you to join our growing number of supporters. On behalf of the students whom benefit from your generosity, we express our sincerest gratitude. Please feel free to contact our offices for further information.

CCC President Leah L. Bornstein

CCC President Dr. Leah BornsteinThis is an incredible time for higher education in northern Arizona and I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of it! Coconino Community College continues to grow and appears to be poised to become an even more significant force in northern Arizona in the years to come. In line with CCC's Strategic Planning Directions to increase available resources, partnerships have been forged that are resulting in exciting additions and possibilities for the College. For example, efforts are under way to bring the universe a little closer with the gift of a telescope from the U.S. Naval Observatory; the green building program is generating new energy with a donated wind turbine from Southwest Windpower; and inspiration is always just steps away in the Lone Tree Campus Sculpture Garden where public art is on display. Through the dedication and commitment of our outstanding CCC Foundation Board and the strong leadership of Foundation Director Robert Erb, the Nursing program continues to be injected with regional support, our Fire Science program is blazing new trails and our students have more funding options through scholarships than ever before. Because the Foundation is expanding access to quality learning throughout this large county, more students are acquiring the skills they need to remain in northern Arizona; more workforce needs are being met; and most importantly, more dreams are coming true!
