To be considered for any federal financial aid or LEAP grant, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Federal regulations require that the student's financial aid file be complete and verified before any federal award is issued or disbursed. Students may contact the Office of Student Financial Aid to check on the status of their file or check through the Web4 system.
Due to the Family Education Right to Privacy Act (FERPA), information regarding the dollar figure of a financial award, or if acheck is available cannot be given over the phone. All students receive an Award letter with this information and can access real-time information on the Web4 system of by visiting the Office of Student Financial Aid. Students must provide their CCC ID, driver's license or state issued ID to obtain this information.
