There are a large number of students who have medically controlled disabilities. The degree by which the students’ academic career is affected varies greatly. At times the condition itself is not the issue but the medications used to treat or control the condition. Fatigue, loss of memory, loss of concentration, shortened attention span and drowsiness are all considered common side effects of medications.
