Supporting the college’s mission through the application of technology and learning services

Student Computer Labs Guidelines and Practices

  • The Lab is open to currently enrolled CCC students. If you need a computer to access transcripts from another institution, apply for financial aid, etc., we can provide guest access.
  •  Your student account will be set up at the start of each semester. Your ID is your student ID # without the “@“(example: 00099999).
    • Have lab staff enable your account and give you a temporary password. You will be prompted to change this password when you first login. The new password can be either letters or numbers or a combination. It is case sensitive.
  • You have only one computer login. Remember to log off when you leave. Let us know if your login will not work.
  • Copying software from the Lab is illegal.
  • Installing software onto CCC computers is not permitted. This includes applications downloaded from the Internet. If your class requires installation of software, see lab staff.
  • Computers are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis. Homework has priority.
