Car Pooling at Coconino Community College? YES!
At Coconino Community College, we are currently signed up for the advanced icarpool system which provides a database to match you with other Coconino Community College staff, faculty and students and Flagstaff community members who are interested in carpooling around the same time.
The icarpool system is ENTIRELY FREE to you and your friends.
1. Click on the i-car-pool link: http://www.icarpool.com/en/MainPage.aspx
2. Click on the sign-up icon in the upper right hand corner.
3. Fill in all fields (the information in this screen is not shared).
4. When you put in your email address use your Coconino Community College email if you have one.
5. After you have completed the registration page, click register at the bottom of the page.
6. Go to your email in box. WIthin approximately 5 minutes an email message will appear from icarpool with a link for you to click on to activate your account. THE NOTIFICATION WILL LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS:

7. Click on the link in your email, which will take you to a page that confirms that your account is now active.
8. Congratulations! You are now an active member of icarpool!
9. From the homepage go to the log-in icon in the upper right hand corner and log in. Click on the tab called my trips, create a trip, or add a trip. Here, over two screens you will enter the information regarding what kind of car trip you will be taking as well as when and where you would like to car pool. To increase your connections try to be as flexible as possible. If you make a mistake in this area, you can delete a trip or edit a trip as needed.
10. You are now ready to find carpool matches.From the top of the page click on Find Matches. On this page click on the icon on the far left titled Search All. icarpool will then scan their data base for anyone else registered that will fit with your needs and provide you with a list of names. Although you may have no matches the day you register, keep checking. As more people register or add trips you can gain matches on a daily basis.
