What is Academic Advising?

In order to succeed in achieving your educational and life goals, you need a plan.  Academic advisors help you to create a plan for your education and keep you on track.  They can also help you with many aspects of your education including degree and course selection, transfer planning, and information about CCC policies, procedures, and deadlines. It is recommended you meet with an advisor each semester to ensure you meet your goals in the most efficient way possible.

Reverse Transfer

Reverse transfer is a process available to students who have taken courses at Coconino Community College and transferred to a four year institution without completion of a CCC degree or certificate. You may be able to transfer credits from the four year institution to apply towards completion of the degree.

Students interested should request a copy of their official transcript from the previously attended college or university to be sent to Coconino Community College. When this is complete please contact Student Services at 928-226-4323 to schedule an in-person or phone advising appointment with an Academic Advisor.
