About the CCC Foundation
The mission of the CCC Foundation is to promote the purposes and goals of Coconino Community College, thereby enhancing the opportunities of Coconino County residents.
The vision of the CCC Foundation is to be a self-sustaining entity that provides support and leadership through community relations, advocacy and fundraising for Coconino Community College.
The CCC Foundation history: founded in 1993 under Arizona Law as a non-profit corporation, it is fiscally and organizationally separate from the College, with its own Board of Directors. The Foundation was established to receive private gifts, bequests and donations to help the College with projects and opportunities which may not be funded by public funds. The Foundation funds are distributed to benefit and advance the College, and subsidize CCC students.
The Foundation supports programs and activities of the College which promote objectives of the institution. Foundation activities and support include, but are not limited to: financial aid for students, recognition of outstanding scholarship or leadership, development of special facilities, awards for special achievement, support of the library and media holdings, procurement of special equipment, planning for special college activites and programs, and development of area-wide interest in support of the College.
Gifts to the Foundation may be made in several ways and may usually be arranged to achieve maximum tax benefits for the Donor while simultaneously providing a generous support of Education. Contributions may be made in gifts of cash, real and personal property, securities, provisions of a will, gifts of insurance policies, or establishment of trusts. Gifts may be awarded for specific purposes or given without restrictions of use.
