Orientation for GED

GED is just the beginning….

The GED orientation assists students entering the GED program sharing a comprehensive overview of information on the GED program, preparation for the GED, distance learning opportunities and self-testing for readiness to pass the GED tests.  Additional exercises include team building, study skills and further academic opportunities.  Orientation sessions are scheduled twice each month throughout the school year. (See current calendar for details.)  In the future, completion of the orientation will earn the student one hour of college credit at Coconino Community College.  During this first year over 125 students attended the orientation and a number of students have already gone on to pass the GED.
