Adult Education

Classes are currently offered throughout Coconino County, open to all individuals that are lawfully present in the US. If you want to participate, check the course listing for the instruction that is best for you, then go to the center during scheduled hours to enroll. Click here for fee information.

If you plan to attend classes in Flagstaff, you must first attend a 9-hour orientation. Registration for orientation may be completed at one of the following sites during class hours:

CCC 4th Street Campus - 3000 N. 4th Street (corner of 4th Street & Cedar/Lockett)
NAU LEARN Center - duBois Center, room 19, NAU South Campus

At registration, you will be required to provide documentation of eligibility for services

Mission of Adult Education at CCC

  • To offer a means for those lacking a high school diploma to obtain a GED.

  • To provide the basic education, communication, and technology skills necessary to successfully gain or improve employment.                                                                                     

  • To prepare second-language learners with the English language and technology skills needed to achieve citizenship and integration into public life.

Purpose

As the need for a more skilled workforce continues to grow at an exponential rate, available and affordable access to basic education and life skills has become a necessity. Recognizing that many may be lacking the skills to adequately compete in this environment, the Coconino County Consortium provides adults of all backgrounds the opportunity to maximize their potential by equipping them with the skills necessary to improve their overall quality of life while becoming productive citizens of the community.
