Basic Certificate
The Network Engineering Certificate is designed to develop skills related to network engineering and to enhance written communications skills and professional readiness. The Certificate is designed to prepare students for entry level Information Technology positions requiring hands-on technical networking skills that support home/small to medium size businesses. This certificate provides students with knowledge and skills appropriate for entry level network engineer occupations. Emphasis is on basic skills such as installing, maintaining, and monitoring advanced technology such as routers and switches. Students may apply credit hours earned in this program toward the Associate of Applied Science degree in Network Engineering. This is a Programs of Study articulated program.
