Psychology: AA Degree
The Associate of Arts degree in Psychology is designed for transfer to the three Arizona State universities.:
Requirements differ significantly among universities. Students should see an advisor to plan their program of study to help avoid transfer difficulties.

AGEC-A Requirements: 35 credit hours See General Education Courses on page 56 that can be used to satisfy AGEC requirements.
Composition (6) ENG 101¹ College Composition I (3) ENG 102¹ College Composition II (3)
Mathematics (3– 5) MAT 142¹ College Mathematics (3) or a higher course selected from the approved AGEC courses in the Mathematics category.
Arts/Humanities (6–9) Courses from two or more disciplines must be selected from the approved General Education courses in the Arts/Humanities category.
Social/Behavioral Sciences (6–9) Courses from two or more disciplines must be selected from the approved General Education courses in the Social/Behavioral Sciences category.
Physical/Biological Sciences (8–10) Any two courses may be taken from the General Education courses in the Physical/Biological Sciences category.
General Education Options (0–6)² Courses may be selected from the above categories or from the Options category.
