GED Testing & Registration

Dates the office will be closed are at the bottom of this page.  The Testing Office is never open for business on GED test days.

Candidates interested in GED testing must pre-register to take the test. We require two forms of identification and payment at time of registration. Candidates under the age of 18 must also provide a notarized parental consent form and an official withdrawal notice from your last school.

The GED exam has five tests: math, writing, science, social studies, and reading. Cost for all five tests for first-time candidates is $90*; retakes are $12/test and you must wait 30 days before testing.

On average the test is offered once or twice a month throughout the academic year at the 4th Street Campus and twice a year at the Page Campus.
