Ingrid Lee, Ed.D., Dean of Arts and Sciences
Dean's Welcome
What is the best part of Arts and Sciences? Arts…and sciences…and everything else in between: history, psychology, foreign languages, math, creative writing, philosophy. I could go on and on. To quote Mark Van Doren (excerpt from Morning Worship, 1959),
"How shall I name them?
And what order?
Each would be first
Omission is murder."
The subjects that comprise the Arts and Sciences provide us with the long view of humanity and our place in it. I invite you to personally participate in this exploration.
Whether you are working on an Associate’s Degree, transferring to an Arizona university, earning a certificate, completing the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC), or taking a course for personal interest, our outstanding faculty and staff, small class size, contemporary teaching methodologies, and magnificent northern Arizona location are conducive to helping you make the most of your post-secondary learning experience.
Who could ask for more?
