CCC Programs

Certificate Programs
Certificate programs provide training in occupational, technical, and business fields. They focus almost exclusively on preparing you for a specific occupation or area of employment. Few courses outside of the major field are required. All certificate programs are listed in the catalog. If you need help choosing a certificate program, please make an appointment with an advisor.

Associate of Arts (A.A.) / Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)

Associate of Arts Degree (AA): A 60 credit hour degree, designed to transfer to a university. *
Associate of Business Degree (ABus): A 62 credit hour degree, designed to transfer to a university. *
Associate of Science Degree (AS): A 60 credit hour degree, designed to transfer to a university. *
Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS): A 60 credit hour degree which prepares students for entry-level employment, and upgrades job skills for those already employed.
Associate of General Studies Degree (AGS): A 60 credit hour degree, designed for students who wish to broaden their knowledge, but have no university transfer, or vocational goal in mind.

* Through these degrees, you may complete your first two years of university work required for a Bachelor's Degree, and transfer as a junior to any of Arizona three public universities.
